ASL Mobile Apps Of course we suggest using our ASL Dictionary app but there are plenty of free online resources as well. ASL Classes Take a class, ask your local university if they offer any ASL classes. Taking a class has the benefit of a structured learning process taught by professional Sign Language Instructors who are ofter professional interpreters. Learn from people who are Deaf Make some friends. This is the best way to learn and use Sign Language. Since ASL is regional you will learn the signs that are most commonly used in the area of the country you live in. Books Yes there are books on ASL but we don't recommend them anymore since this is an outdated way to learn Sign Language. An ASL Picture Dictionary is hard to determine the movement of the sign and proper facial expression. New Suggestion
